I'm going to see Pixies for the first time the 12th of June. I have waited for 20 years.
Pixies totally blew me away a summer day in 1989. At age 16 (and yes you do the math, I am old) they made my world spin. I never had such a physically reaction to any other music. I had to go rest.
I envy you. That show is going to be awesome. From the clips I've seen of more recent shows, they still have it in spades.
I have a co-worker who had a chance to see them live a few years ago and didn't--I think he possibly chose his wife and (then-infant) twins over a chance to see one of the greatest bands in history. I still give him a hard time about it.

My fav will always be "Debaser".
