I think it was more of a "Why the hell are you messing with that camera instead of petting me?" look directed at me. But the facial expression worked for the "card" perfectly, no?

That's a photoshopped santa hat if I've ever seen one. (And I've seen many - we photoshop our dogs regularly, they'd kill us in our sleep if we dressed them.)
