Thursday

The alarm clock went off this morning. I thought, "That's weird that my alarm went off on a Saturday."

Then I remembered it was Friday.

And then I remembered it wasn't Friday, either.

In addition to that thought process, I had a hard time figuring out which bed and city I was in. Successive nights of 4-5 hours of sleep plus excess travel does that to me.

Must have been a phase of the moon or something. I woke up on Thursday, hit the snooze, woke back up 45 minutes later. Wondered why the alarm hadn't gone off. Realized it wasn't Saturday AND I was going to be late for work, but only by one bus time.

So I did what any self respecting employee does...blamed public transportation.

Wendy, that's another benefit of public transportation that I didn't even have a chance to mention in the post that got John mad at me. :D
