NaNoWriMo word count for today

I am, actually, taking a break this evening. Will have to work doubly hard over the next few days, but then I'm off next week, so I'm not worried about that.

I'm still thousands of words behind, but trudging along. I figure if I can at least do 2,000 words a day for a while, I'll catch up sooner or later. Typing one handed, with 10 pounds of squirming baby that seems to radiate heat is more difficult than I would have thought.

Being one of the non-writers in the bunch, I wish you all well. Only thing I'm writing these days is cover letters & resume edits.

Other than that, it's a glorious fall day here in Hot'lanta, 70-ish, slight breeze, crystal clear blue sky so bright it hurts my eyes. Ran a couple errands earlier and am invited out to dinner tonight with some friends.

Doing splendidly. My boss goes on the air on KABC, LA's second biggest radio station at drive time next week. I'm taking some much needed R & R before business really begins to ramp up.

On another note, officially preordered 2 copies of "Rogue" yesterday.

A wonderful California day, somewhere in the high 60's and sunny. This is when I'm a proud resident.
