John McLaughlin
Today is John McLaughlin's sixty-seventh birthday. Found that out the other day by accident when I was putting together my Freddie Hubbard memorial. Happy birthday, John!
Here's a younger John McLaughlin (not sure what year) with Al Di Meola, performing "Tales Of The Black Forest" with some fun interpolations in the middle. Yeah, sure, I can totally play like these guys.
(Not even in my dreams.)
