The first time I heard Patti Smith, I didn't get it. Then the second time I heard Patti Smith, I got it. Funny how that works sometimes.

Here's she is, performing what might be my favorite song of hers: "Pissing In A River," live in Brussels last year. The camera work is shaky, from a handheld, but the sound is surprisingly good for a boot.
